Premium Fuel From Recycled Cooking Oil
Northeast Biodiesel, LLC, was a biofuel manufacturing plant in Greenfield, MA, committed to producing high quality, renewable fuel in the most sustainable way: with recycled cooking oil. Our premium biodiesel was to be used in any oil heat system or diesel engine reducing carbon emissions, improving engine performance, and improving air quality.
Sadly, we have gone out of business because of drops in the federal incentives for biodiesel. We are grateful for all the support we received from so many for so long.
Here’s the Community Biofuel Cycle program we had developed to collect used cooking oil locally, turn it into biodiesel and deliver it to our community to use in their oil heat systems and diesel engines.
Northeast Biodiesel's majority owner, Co-op Power, is a renewable energy cooperative owned by consumers from around New England and New York.
